## The two bikes

- **Whimsy Classic** — ages 2–8. Steel frame. Wheel sizes 12", 14", 16", 20".
  Training wheels while they're wanted. "The bike first rides are made of."
- **Whimsy Pro** — ages 5–10. Aluminium frame. Wheel sizes 16" and 20".
  Featherlight, for children who have already found their balance.

Both assemble in about two minutes. Children's bicycles are sized by wheel diameter.
The stated age ranges are guidance only — fit follows height and inside-leg, not age.

## Warranty (commonly misstated — read carefully)

- Frame: LIFETIME, for the original purchaser's ownership period, against manufacturing
  and material defects.
- Fork: NINE MONTHS from date of purchase.
- All other original components and accessories: NINE MONTHS from date of purchase.

It is NOT a lifetime warranty on the whole bicycle. Claims require the bicycle presented
assembled with the original dated sales receipt. Not covered: wear and tear, consumables
(tyres, tubes, gear sets), accident/neglect/abuse, modification, labour and transport
charges, plastic and rubber and decorative accessories.

## Design position

Specified for Gulf conditions rather than European ones: heat treated as a design input
(grips, saddles, finishes chosen for real Gulf summers); sand and dust treated as the
normal case; setups shaped by compounds, corniches and park loops. Craftsmanship
principles: kid-scaled geometry rather than shrunk-down adult shapes; brake levers a
child's hand can actually squeeze; finishes that tolerate being dropped and sun-parked.
